primary spring

I just ordered a primary spring for my 00' boss and need to know how hard it is to change

Remove the bolts that hold the rear fender to the floorboards, remove the small clip at the rear of the clutch cover, remove the 3/8 hex head screws that hold the cover on, slip the air intake flex connector off ( you may have to cut the zip tie ) and remove the cover. Remove the 5/8 hex head center bolt, and remove the six 7/16 bolts on the primary clutch. The outer portion should come off with the spring. Change the spring out, and be CERTAIN to align the X's on the clutch upon reassembly. Inspect the belt and the inside of the cover while you're in there. Tighten the 6 smaller and the center bolt evenly. Re-install the cover and the air intake flex connector paying attention to the seal. Replace the bolts from the fender to the floorboard and you're done.
