I was haveing trouble with the 4 wheel drive on my sportsman 500 and I posted the question on this site and the problem was the speedometer I bought a new one and replaced it and the 4 wheel drive works good again. The new problem is that the speedo don't work it won't count miles or show speed. What should I check or what might the problem be???? The only thing that I can tell you (since I really haven't had much experience with changing speedometers) is check all of the grounds, connectors, and if the instrument panel has a wire harness on the back of it, look for loose wires, and make sure that the harness is connected fully.
