predator or yfz 450
#2
What do you mean "sick" stuff? I think they are both very excellent quads, and it sounds like from some mag. review that yamaha realized they didn't want a raptor problem again, so they made sure they tranny was heavy-duty in the 450. It sounds like they both are great machines. You will definately get by cheaper on purchasing the Pred, throw out a couple hundred and you have the front rezzis like the 450 with more travel all around. Sit on both and see what you like, both are very capable and fun quads to own, wish I could own both, but I really like my pred, and the pred is definately cheaper, but not built that way of course! It's slightly heavier, but still extremely light feel in the air and for throwing around.

Other than nerfs and the front shock rezzi's, the Predator is all setup. Polaris is standing behind it...Yammis track record has to be proven on this machine....and it's been suspiciously quiet over there.

I saw, sat on, but didn't ride the new Yamaha. It's looks are very nice, very good suspension. It's the most comparable quad to the Predator right now. I however didn't like the way that the front wheels sat, they looked like this: / \ Not sure why, dealer said he noticed it too and called, but was told that is the way they sit without the front suspension compressed. Wasn't very impressed with that. I know that when i ride the suspension moves up and down, so I guess the wheel move back an forth when I wouldn't want them to.......
