Pipe and clutch kit first, then porting and head shaved after that.

will porting and shaving shorten the life of my moter? I have an Aaen catalog and they will do all this for about $900.00 but i am worried about blowing my moter. Its my only atv and im afraid of killing it.

I don't mean to sound like an a**, but the easiest way to hop up your 250 is to sell it, take that money plus everything you're spending on mods, and buy a 400. You get liquid cooling as a bonus.

Bubba did my porting and it helped a great deal. He did a great job and I was only down for a week.
