try not to put so many coats on it,that may be the problem,and always use the lightest strokes when applying the paint...Sound like you put too much on there and know you can take it off with your fingernail..happend to me till a painter friend helped me..nd i had globs of paint on it and thought it would last ,but he only put 2 coats on after we took off all the paint i did..
