Have been having a warm start problem with this Trail Boss I am renewing. A reliable Polaris mechanic said it probably needs a new float valve seat, as these early models with rubber motor mounts needed to be replaced almost yearly. Is there anywhere I can find the float valve for less than $30, (Polaris price)? Would seem like one could buy Mikuni parts somewhere for less. This is a VM30SS.
Second question, are there different or better motor mounts available?
