Someone PM me, I need help with a 2002 TB Starter!!!!!!

 

DO you need to take the fly wheel off to get the starter motor out??? I cant seem to get the starter motor out, how do I get it out with the starter gear going through the hole and the fly wheel is blocking the removal. If I do have to take the wheel off, what can I jam it with to stop it from turing.

 

You need to remove it from the bottom of the machine. Take off youe skid plate and you should have acsess to it. It isnt easy to do through. Or you can remove your clutches and covers and get it that way. I have taking mine off on my scrambler through the bottom. Good luck.
