Is this worth it ?

1st I'd like to say high to everyone, I'm new to the board.
I have the chance to pick up a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500 with 182 miles.
It has a warn winch also. It's been stored in a heated garage and is in showroom condition.
Is it worth $4700.00
If not can you tell your opinion on what you think it's worth.
My other ride that I've had for about 18 years is a Yamaha 225dx 3 wheeler.
I think it's time to buy another.

I live and ride in the Gardner/Athol area.
I'm basicly wanting something I can go hunting with,
along with something my wife can drive the kids around on.
Is this a good machine?
I'm also looking at a 2003 Suzuki Vinson 500 for $5300.00 it has approx 110 miles.

$4700 for a 2000 seems a bit high. I would go with the Vinson If I was you. I am speaking from experience on this one. I now have a Vinson and haven't looked back. Or look at it this way, The Suzuki is three years younger more powerful and only 600 dollars more.

Cop. I don't know where your are getting your information, but a Vinson is not faster than a SP500HO. You also once posted a Vinson would kill a Scrambler 500 lol. A Scrambler would stomp a Vinson.

If the sportsman is not a H.O. then the Vinsion may be able to take it. I'm not to sure when the SP500 H.O. came out ..."01 or '02???
