#11
I have an 04 sportsman 600 with the new vision rims and 27 outlaws. and i rode last weekend witha new 04 yellow rincon . the thing has no ground clearance and if u want to go muddin that is the main thing u stress.. the 600 does not play! i have impressed everyone i have rode with ,with that quad. if u want the best there aint but one name. COP,
i like your idea on the Kawi700 but i like independent rear suspension so much i don't think i'll ever go back to a straight axle.
a BIG thanks to everyone who gave me their two cent. i made my decision today. i chose Polaris again! i'm AMERICAN and damn proud to dump my $$ back into American hands.
....i only had one problem. the prices were soooooo close between the 600 and the 700 that i couldn't make up my mind between the two..... so i flipped a coin.........and i'm picking up my new '04 700 tomarrow at 3PM!!
thanks again 'all!

I don't find the lack of engine braking on the rincon to be a problem. The lack of engine braking makes for a sportier ride. As for the brakes many magazines complimented honda for them, saying they were some of the best drum brakes they tryed. As for being the same as a rubicon, it's not. The suspension is much better and the engine is torquier then ruby. The Rincon can change 2 wheel to 4wheel, and there are too many differances to list. Even if the Rubicon was the same as the Rincon, I would choose the Rubicon over any Polaris any day. Polarises are very unreliable, and extremely heavy, it is a disgrace that the polaris 400 weighs more than the Rincon. Change to a Honda, when you pay for a polaris, you don't just pay the number on the price tag, you pay for multiple repairs. I agree the kawasaki would also be a good machine, too.
