Spark Problem w/ 96' Scrambler 400
#1
I can't seem to get my spark plug to fire. I have ran ohm checks on the ignition coil and got 12k on the secondary end of it and less than 1 ohm on the primary end. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me find out if these readings are right so I can figure out whether the ignition coil is the problem or not.
Thanks

Primary resistance should be .3 ohms, secondary 6.3K ohms. The manual states that the secondary should be checked with the plug cap removed. The resistance on the cap should be around 3.7-6.3K ohms.Hope this helps.
