ONCE MORE WHAT DO I NEED TO RUN ALCOHOL IF I AREADY HAVE tHE HPD RACE KIT? CAN I gET THE ALCOHOL AT THE AIR PORT

 

You need a carb that will take alcohol. Not sure where to get the alcohol.

 

CAN I still use MY CPI RACE PIPE or do i need a new one of those to

 

Posting problems, I'll try again. They say the CPI pipe works good. The Lectron carb is one of the easier units to tune on alky. Have you been to the Arizona Bad Boyz forum?

 

I have 3 places within 5 miles of my house. Race track. High performance shop. Phillips 66 gas station. If you look for it you will be suprised how many places sell it. I saw it advertised for $1.85 per gallon today.

 

Matt, you need a carb for alky, and a fuel pump so you wont run dry. The CPI pipe works great, that's what I had on mine. You can get alcohol at a lot of places. Lots of dirt track car racers run it, drag racers run it, and wheelers. Just do some asking around in your local area. You'll use approximately 2 times as much alky, but it costs half as much as race gas.Bubba

 

hey bubba you can get the methanol over hear at ft.smith ark. for 1.35 at parker solvents theres one in little rock to. i run it in my srambler to makes it fly. i done the mods to the stock carb. i need a biger carb thoe. one of these days i want to get the max416. and do you have it on your qaud.
