Sprockets on Trailblazer 250?
#2
The stock gearing is 11/38. I am not too sure if more teeth means more bootm end and less teeth means more top speed, or if it is the other way around. Either way, you are going to lose either top speed or bottom end. And unless you have some mods, you really don't want to lose and bottom end on the trailblazer.

Going to a bigger rear means more bottom end. Smaller front will do the same. Smaller rear top speed bigger front top speed. I can use a 42t rear and only do about 61-62mph but with a 34t it is 66-67mph.

ok no one replyed back so going to post again,So a stock 250 does about 50mph so if I put a rear 34t sprocket on mine how much faster will it go?Plus will this hurt me going up hills or jumping it?

I really don't know how much fater it will make you got. I haven't changed sizes on mine cuz of the 4wd. But jumping wont make a difference. You will lose bottom end acceleration though. It may not be worth it unless you have some mods to compensate. Hopefully someone with more experience with this can give you more insight

Changing the sprocket sizes is more of a ride and feel thing, you just have to try and see if you like the difference or not. I personally went up on my rear sprocket and didn't like it because with my mods I was not getting enough traction for my taste, so it is up to you and your preferences about what you like.
