2003 Scrambler 500 4X4, Where can I find a Plow?
#3
The lonly thing to worry about on a Scrammy and a plow is that is doesn't have low range.....lots have used plows on scrammys, just wanted to let you know......
You might want to check on the Polaris website.....

The reason Polaris only offers a Plaw for the Gen IV series (sportsman/Explorer) is they have low range and a heavier frame I highly recommend forgeting the idea of putting one on a scrammy. Clutch and belt trouble would sure to drive you nuts and make your wallet lighter.

I think my 400 4x4 works great for plowing.Ive never plowed more than a 6 to 8 in. snowfall but it handled that much with no problem. With the 48"plow it works well for the driveway and sidewalks.
I put the stock main clutch spring and stock muffler in for plowing (dont want to wake the neighbors)and I have the 4x4 power wire to a constant hot so that I have 4x4 at all times, foward or reverse
The only thing I can say is that if it doesnt move HIT IT HARDER
I do live in town and only do 5 driveways and sidewalks
It sure beats shoveling

Thanx guys...
Well It's Wierd because I wanted a Sport/Utilty, but any other 4X4 Looks like it's more Utility, while the Scrambler looks sporty.
Well I figured it would be nice to have for the winter instead of shoveling. I also read that this guy had a 2002 Scrambler & was saying he used it in the storm 2002/03. He had drifts up to 6', Yes Feet & he said he went threw them with ease.
Damn Im Confused!! lol
Well I don't have this Yet, But I would like it Now!
Anybody have any suggestions
I would like a bike to hit jumps, mudding, plow, Fast, 4X4, Did I mention I wanted to catch some Air, Wheelies, Ect. & just have fun! So I'm pretty lost as you can see...
