Notice the Wheel base is 1/2" shorter. What a difference this makes...just wait until you ride it and you will see.

 

They finally broke down and joined everyone else with 9" rear rims that is a good move and standard bolt hubs I would think will be Honda pattern. The Orange Troy Lee looks pretty sweet!

I finally picked up my Pred. Now that I did, I find that the 04 information is released. Go Figure. Anyways, can someone explain to me the benifits the 04 has over the 03? I know what they are, but what makes it better. Like the larger wheels. What makes them better?

Its jsut the samller rear tire is more common, same with the hubs, with teh different bolt pattern, there are TONS of honda wheels out there for cheap..you wont need a custom wheel to replace yours!

I looked at the pics and dont see how the coolent bottle is different..maybe you could specify!? Also, how did they get the shorter length? Would the smaller tires do this?

 

They can get a shorter length by changing the swing arm but i dont Know if they did that.

 

The swingarm is actually shortened...and I belive I heard that it was shortened 5/8" from the 03 swingarm. Don't know if it will be a huge difference, but it may help the front end a little in the whoops

 

how come. for the 04 the seat is black, but then when u go to the gallery for the 04 model the Reg/ Pred./ the seat is red! and if anyone finds the bolt pattern post it.. its probly gonna be honda rims.. o well

 

will the shorter swing-arm make the front end "lighter" during hard accerlation?
