I use to have the FTR version of CPI's pipe and liked it alot,i just found the HPD race pipe to come on a little quicker. The CPI pipe is definitely better looking than the HPD.Either way you decide would be a good choice.

I did have a CPI on my 99 sport. Actually it is still there just not in my possesion anymore The expansion cgamber is all up front and the stinger pipe is where the heat shield was. You can remove it completely or cut it way down if you like. It does make power for sure. You need the portwork to go with the pipe. I have all the specs if you need them or can port it for you also. If you go from the HPD trail pipe to a race pipe, either do it all or dont do it. I had a good friend in TX take the trail pipe off to put on a race pipe and he didnt port for it. He was never really satisfied with it. But if you get the porting, compression, and clutching to match it then it will open your eyes. You can also get it in chrome like Kevin's, something HPD does not offer. CED had his pipe jet coated and it looks sweet as well. Bubba
