Default predator break-in

Ok what is the right break-in time for the pred? the owners manual says three hours but, I just got in the service manual and it says 10 hours. So what is the right time? Is it like the 400ex where their manual said 5 miles and it was supose to be 15 hours just wondering if I was easier on it for the 10 hours how much more I could have got out of it?

Take it easy on it. Gradually expand the envelope, and it'll pay you back with lots of grins.

Well that's the reason for the question. I have already put atleast 50 hours on it. So why put 3 hours for break-in in the owners manual and 10 in the service manual? I would talk to the dealer I bought it from but their service sucks, great sales but the service dept is bad.

The dealer in Chattanooga told me to drive the **** out of it and don't worry about the break in period. He said just don't hold the throttle open for long periods of time. So what did I do the minute after buying it, went to a 200 acre farm outside of Chattanooga and started climbing old logging roads, I am talking about going straight up hills, had to lean forward the whole time so I wouldn't flip. I mean some serious terrain, I could of strangled my buddy for getting me into that situation. He had to get off a couple times to sit on my front end so I wouldn't flip and tumble down the ridge. Anyway, I hope I wasn't to hard on it. I put 230 miles before changing the fluids etc. JUST DON'T KEEP THE THROTTLE WIDE OPEN FOR MORE THAN 5 SECONDS AT A TIME. OUT
