changing oil

Default changing oil

me and my dad are changing the oil today on my 03 trail blazer 250. we have changed the oil before and we used polaris crankcase oil. i think thats what its called. it came in a balck and pink bottle. but the last time i went to the dealer they gave me polaris agl oil. where does this agl oil go. any in fo would be gratefully appreciated since we are doing it today. thanks.

Do you mean CHAINCASE lube? That's the only thing you need other than your injector oil.

Also, why have you already changed oil on an '03 and are doing it again?

what exactly did you change before, and where on the balzer were you working? i've been using polaris premium gold 2 cycle oil. got a bottle in my hand and don't see agl anywhere on it. on the nose of the blazer is the cap and that's where it gets poured in. call the dealer and verify what he sold you. a phone call is cheaper than an engine, doubt they would warranty if you're wrong.

You dont change oil in 2 strokes(your 250)!
