Default Scrambler Sparkplugs

Is there an easy to change the plug in 2000 Scrambler 500?

I use the spark plug wrench that came in my tool pack that came with my ATV's.

yes - but they got the thing burried. Do you have to take everything off the front end to get to the plug?

My 250 and my 300,you can reach inside on the front right side fender and there it is there on top of the motor.

I tried to do without removing anything and it took almost an hour and a half - I can bearly get the wrench in there - let alone turn it.

Ok then I cant help you then,Wait for BigBadScrambler to get here and try and help you,he has a 500 scrammy too and knows a good bit about them.

FIRST U HAVE TO REMOVE THE FRONT PLASTIC THEN THE GAS TANK THERES UR PLUG.

Well, believe it. It is a pain in the **** to get to that plug!!! I just remove the front plastic and gas tank. I can get all that stuff off in about 5 minutes now. Here's a tip. Drill out the 2 rivits on the front of the plastic under the nose piece and replace them with bolts. It will make it a lot easier to take the front plastic off. The only other way to get to that plug is if you have the perfect combination of extensions and elbows and a small pair of hands[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Default Scrambler Sparkplugs

I dont have to take my tank off. Using the tools that came with the quad, and the way the tank is indented on the right side, (and I have large hands), I can get in there (once the front plastic is off) and get the plug out.

It still sucks.
