Default Hand Grips keep sliding off

Does anyone else have this problem? Whenever I get the slightest bit of moisture my hand grips start slippin'. What's the best way to prevent this?

i hit the bars with a little steel wool or fine sandpaper, then use just about any lubricant, especially if it evaporates.
i did for the first time have to use grip glue, and it didnt work that great. I'll bet more prep on my part would have
eliminated that. you can use even Elmers glue, once the bar is rough and it has something to stick to.

Try Pro-Grip glue...you can find it in rocky mountain or dennis kirk. Use an actual grip glue...they do a better job than hairspray!!

Hairspray works great and costs nothing. The key is the prep. Make sure the bars are clean and dry and the inside of the grip is also (not an issue if you're putting new grips on).

After using "GRIP" glue, then safety wire them. I guarantee they will not come loose if you do both.

Yes it's hairspray! I use Aqua net extra hold when I change my grips out. It lubricates for easy slip on then sets.

Glue and tie-wire

Man it drives me crazy when people have loose grips...the point is to have "GRIP"
