Stock? No! With some slight mods then easily. The 400 Scrammy would have an easier time and take really well to mods. That fact that the 400 and 500 is 4x4 is the downfall. Much heavier. The 400 with a pipe, clutch kit and airbox mod can easily hang.

Depends on wher you are riding.Heck on trails and in mud my 400 Sportsman will smoke my buddys 400EX but on the roads there aint no way to keep up with him.
