I asked you guys about a month ago about a magnum 500 vs 450es, well i think im going with the 500 cuz of the better ride and more power, but i worryed about a few things first has anyone ever had a problem with mud getting in the raditor and then over heating. Also is 5600.00 a good deal on one before tax. Thanks

Stitch..
Yeah.. I've seen and had that happen to me... BUT, I've also seen it happen on a Honda 450S.
If youre gonna ride deep mud, do what Quad_Man does and put some fiberglass window screen material infront of the radiator grille and keep it in place using bungie cords...
When you get to a creek or clear water, remove the screen and rinse it out right quick... then youre done!!

Any machine with a radiator has that possibility. You could always get an air-cooled Grizzly and not worry about it.... hehehe
Anyway, like mudmachine said, a piece of mesh screen-door screen held on with bungee cords works great. As a matter of fact, I hardly ever clean it. The mud usually falls off instead of sticking. I have never even had my hot light come on with the mesh. Cheap and effective!
