Check to make sure the air pressure is the same in all four tires. Check to make sure all your steering linkages are in good shape and don't have any play in them. Your front end alignment could be off a little.
These are just a few things to check,

If this is in 4-wheel drive mode, it could have something to do with your CV joints up front or limited slip problems (not sure if that bike has a limited slip up front). But it sounds like your left tire is getting power, and your right is just slipping.

If it's pulling real hard then go with what chad400ex said, you're front hub hasn't unlocked. sometime throwing it in reverse and driving around for awhile will help. otherwise you may want to check the hub itself out, chage oil, ect... had this problem from time to time on a sportsman, almost pulled me into a tree once.

if i turn the wheels all the way to the left as far as i can the problem stops. It doesn't do it all the time, just everynow and then. I'm thinking the 4wd doesn't disengage to that wheel, if thats possible. Or maybe that brakes stick on that sied. Could this be possible?

They even mention this in the owner's manual. If you perform a certain sequence, one hub will lock up. I find that if you turn the wheel all the way, then put it in reverse, then hit the gas and back up, then shift to forward gear with the wheel still turned, one hub will lock. As has been posted, the cure is to have the wheels straight forward, put it in reverse, back up a few feet, then go forward, it frees the hub. I asked around -- not a indication anything is broken, just a design flaw that I think is pretty harmless. Can't explain why, but for some reason backing up a hill seems to increase the likelihood (perhaps the heavier throttle needed to go uphill?????)

My '98 500SP has done the same infrequently when the bike is started. Turning the engine off and restart and it goes back to normal. The reverse manuver described above also works. I happened to duplicate the problem at the dealership and they mentioned "de-magnetizing the hubs". I haven't found that in the Polaris shop manual. The machine had just been serviced at the dealership to include changing the hub fluid and grease prior to purchase so I've got to assume correct grease and fluid. They mentioned the fluid in the hubs was pretty dirty. What brand synthetic AT fluid is compatable, I'm considering flushing the hubs out with more AT fluid. Any ideas about de-magnetizing?
