Im thinking about gettin a predator, how badly do you guys wish you had reverse? i do a lot of trail riding and jumps and very little racing. but since it is fairly heavy it would be difficult to move around.
also would you guys get a '03 for $5,700 or would you wait and get a '04 troy lee for like $6,100-$6,200 thanks guys!

I find its more of a "minor" inconvinence then anything. Like when you gotta pull it out of the garage vs backing out. Most of the time im just smart about it. Dont pull up next to somthing where your gonna have to back up. Some times you will need to pull yourself out of a situation, but i dont find the quad all that heavy at all..no problem to throw around. Plus it turns so tight you can usually just kick the rear around if you have too!

Reverse is not NEVER necessary for me as I only dune. Whocares about reverse anyways? The quad doesnt feel heavy but more stuck to the ground.

With the Preds sharp turning radius, you don't need reverse.

There has really only been one time that I really wished I had reverse, but then again I wish I had 4-wheel drive for where I had it. I don't think reverse would have done me a pinch of crap good anyway! Thanks to the Sportman 700 that pulled me out (in two wheel drive). The Rancher couldn't budge me in 4-wheel drive! lol
