Will they handle well on trails?
Can they mountain climb?
Can you go threw water/Mud/Ect?
Does anyone use in winter?

Just wanted to know, I'm thinking of getting 4X4, but would like sport.

it will go where you want and it look sport,they run through snow as an
awsome machine,they climb steep hills too,you can go trough a lot of water and muds and they love it.

 

I own a 500 predator and it is junk. It breaks something every ride. I bought the extended warranty and it is worthless. My dealer has refused to even turn it in to Polaris and says if he does, he will loose his dealership. As a company, they do not believe in customer service if they threaten to jerk a dealership over a warranty claim. DO NOT BUY A POLARIS PRODUCT

 

i dont think polaris would do that. i think your dealer is giving you bs and a lot of it i would call polaris directly if i were you.

You are half right. I found out on this forum some people got some of there there plastic replaced. I paid $160 My dealer, Super Bike Shop, refused to turn it in. The air box broke this weekend and I told him my old 400ex never had problems like this and it has been thrashed. The owner told me to go buy anouther Honda. I also had one of his air force kits and he has to alter the airbox for it. He adds anouther filter. The motor sucked so hard it pulled it out and digested it. I ordered new webbing for the factory nerf bars that i bought with the machine in march and I still do not have it. The originals lasted 2 months along with the front plastic. I also have a Ranger and when I bought it I bought a windshild kit for it. It tooks 3 months to get it but new ones came into the dealer with them. I think my dealer is a crook.

scrambler is awsome threw mud, deep water, it handles good for a 4x4 sport, the 4 wheel drive on it is very good. it climbs like no otheri love it to death, the auto trans is awsome when the trails get ruff ( really ruff) if you get it you will not be sorry. you can jump it, just not as high as you can jump a predator. beleive me i own it, and you can do everything with it , i mean anything. o yeah, its great threw the snow,and so is my tb 250. ( they dont make the 400 anymore, its a shame)

the predator is a good bike, its fast. only thing bad my freind tells me is that it has a little bit of a weak trans. but threw mud and water its good for a clutch bike, better than any 400ex or raptor. it climbs good . i dont know about the snow, ill have to ask my buddie.
