Yes I drilled out the end of the muffler all the way in.With a 4 stroke thats what you want to do get the air out as fast as you can.I put the plug in the back of the muffler when Im hunting or when ever I want the stock sound back

Look at this exhaust: http://www.highlifter.com/store/powertech4.html
I bought one 2 months ago. I have had it on my bike for a total of two days, and took it back off. The old lady did not like to ride cause it was too loud. It felt like the bike woke up a bit, but it was not worth hearing her fussing! I will cut you a good deal on it if you want it. Drop me a private line if interested.

HSP has fixed all there silencers and they are all nickel plated. You can also get headers and expansion chamgers ( for the 2 strokers ) nickel plated for only $50 more. Which in my opinion isnt a big deal. Although my pipe has never fallen apart, what happens to it??

Bill35-

I have done the same mod as you. Saw your pictures once before.

Couple of questions....Did you rejet? Have you modded the airbox? Where did you get the plug?

Thanks,
