Need a little help fine tuning this beast. Have the HMF slip-on and a K&N drop in no air box mods. Having problems 3/4 to full throtle. Plug is tan to white in color. Running at sea level and temp is is around mid forties. Where should I start, I haven't did anything to the carb yet.

 

go up 2 sizes on your mains.........
if the plug is white you are lean......

 

I had the same set up, I used a 155 main jet, and the mixture screw 3 1/2 turns out, it worked great.

Im at about sea level and I was running a 167.5 and 50. No adjustments to the air screw or needle position.

 

I have the drop in and HMF Slip on and am running the 155. If anything it reads a little rich, but I had been riding in some upper 80-90 degree days. But it does sound like you need to go up 1 size, like a 157

You went up to a 155?? As in you never changed it? HMF recommended switching to a 155...now that you have that you should be jetted darn near perfectly!
