From what I understand the 2 stroke ban will take effect in 2006. The ban is on new 2 strokes and the old ones will be grandfathered like atcs in the 80's. My dealer also told me that once the ban takes effect 2 strokes will not be allowed on goverenment property (national forests). [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

i just CAN'T have that fun with a thumper anyway,it started this year at polaris when they dropped the 400 2 stroke.

 

I have thought about trading for a new 500, maybe I should hold on to my 400 Explorer for a little longer.

 

That 2-stroke ban is pure BS! the liberals get everything they ask for dont they, its bad enough they keep getting our riding spots taken away from us, and now they want our 2 strokes banned. i knew it was comming, its just sad.its a good thing gore didnt get in office, because all of our quads would be banned, lmao!
