Be carefull when taking the starter switch apart there is a little bearing for the detent on the light switch that falls out when you seperate the case. It is not hard to get back in but be aware that it is there. I had the same problem, and yes I admit it I mud bog too???

Ok i can help with the starte problem cause i had the same. first take apart the starter, be careful there are 3 springs, 2 berings, and 4 copper horseshoe connectors. clean it all out, and get ether terminal grease or Vasoline, and just put it all over the green button and all the connection points and it should be fine, oh yah sorry about my spelling i'm not too good at it.

I had the starter problem as well..dealer gave me a new switch.

Im having another problem now..i can be out riding and the bike will just die. No power, NOTHIN! But after a minute it'll fire back up again! This is with my headlights off too! So anyways..the dealer looked at it and found a grey wire that goes to the CDI, they patched it up and said it was all good..well its still doing it! FFS..back to the dealer i go!

Did you ever figure out what was wrong? I was riding mine in the river and the starter button stuck, noticed it right away and got it freed up then the next sandbar I noticed the headlights were going dim. I was giving this girl a ride because her 4x4 took a crap up river so we left it but anyway she hit my shift lever and it diedand wouldn't start. Trying to jumpstart a 4-wheeler on a sand bar is almost impossiblewithout a towrope but we did it. Once we got it started when ever you pulled in the clutch lever the headlights would dim and it would backfire and want to die. and finally it did

Hey for the throttle prob its sounds like your filter needs clean or you are to rich you are getting too much gas to start and when you get wide open it cleans out and hauls.
