D.I.D. 520 X - Ring! The Polaris stock chain is not that good at all. The D.I.D is twice the tensile strength than that of the stock. Best chain made!

Let me know what you decide.

Talon, in looking at both Chaparral and Denis Kirk they show a D.I.D. 520VM which has the 'x' type 'O' ring. is this the chain you are talking about? Also is there a certin pithch and width you need to look at? thanks

I broke mine 2 weeks ago and replaced it with a RK X-Ring chain. It has about 7400 tensile strength. It seems pretty good, but it is a little smaller than the stock Regina. It has 76 links. I have a 99 Scrambler 4x4. Hope this helps.

The chain can be found in multiple places. (Just look in Dirt Wheels or ATV Action you will find it) I got mine for $60.00 from a dealer. The regular Polaris dealership wanted to charge me $75.00 to buy a new stock chain ( Although I already had the D.I.D 520 X- Ring I was just curious what they would ask for a stock one.)

The D.I.D. 520 X-Ring has a tensile strength of 8400. That is almost double the stock. Let me know what you decide. Just my two cents!
