Default Front hub question

I have a 02 sportsman 400. My question is what is wrong with the front hub. It leaks down the inside of the brake roder. I have already replaced the hub seal twice and it has not fixed it yet. Could I need to replace the sleeve, front hub seal. Any help will be appriciated. Thanks

Default Front hub question

Could be several issues...

1) Hub seal seating surface scratched from seal removal.
2) Seal installed improperly (using hammer/ not installation tool).
3) Seal lip not prelubricated to protect the seal lips during initial run-in.
4) Strut hub seal sleeve (piece the seal rides against while the hub spins) scratched.
5) Hub installation nut not torqued to appropriate value (including nut rolling tourque).

or the following but this could get expensive...

6) The steel sleeve that is pressed into the aluminum strut is loose (shouldn't be). Remove the hub and grab the strut hub seal sleave and see if it moves. The oil in the hub that lubricates the four bearings (2 of axles and 2 of hub) gets inbetween the sleeve and the strut, and comes out behind the blue silicone of the strut hub seal sleeve. I think the only true way to fix this is to change the complete strut assembly.
