I use Maxima Chain lube on my bike and its amazing stuff.

I know Grainger carries it. Also, my local True Value Hardware stocks it.

I use chain saw bar and chain lube. Try to let it set awhile. It's cheap and I keep it in a pressurized oil can I have available for other equipment.

Default Chain Lube

Bar and chain oil is just a cheap motor oil. All the sand and dirt will stick to it like a magnet.
