when i took my clutch cover off to look inside and check the belt i lost the little metal clip that goes on the back end of the case, clamps the two sides together. is it even needed? here is the microfiche, its part #8.

thanks thats what i thought, i've been running it without it for like 2 weeks so i didn't think it mattered. but i've recently noticed, as in today, that it sounds like the primary clutch is rubing/hitting the clutch cover. i haven't stepped on it or anything.... could jumping cause it? if i lift up on it it stops for a while. any ideas?
