Default Dirt In Predator Carb

Hey I just wanted to see if my bike is missing something from the factory? While rejetting I noticed that the breather for the diaphram that actuates the slide is basically wide open to the outside dirt the only reason I noticed is that I found a large amount of dirt inside the diaphram while I was messing with the needle adjustment. The factory setup does not give any place for this to hook up to???? I thought this was wierd but did not give it too much thought until I noticed how much dirt was inside my carb!!!! Has any one else noticed this? I am sure that I can put a little K&N on or something But that is not the point.

I had the same problem with mine. You need to put some grease around the ring to seal it better. One of Polaris stupid moves not greasing. There is a little filter in that black pipe from what I was told. Same deal with the air box lid. A way for Polaris to get some rebuilds if you ask me. Hopefully not to much dust to do anything to bad. PEACE
