im a ds-650 owner and a friend of mine is a predator owner

i need to know who is the faster quad? ds OR predator

I have raced several Predators with the same results.

 

it should be faster.. 150 more CC's.. thats like racing a 250X VS a 400EX if you think about it.
but i will bet the pred doesnt lose by to much.

 

Predator and DS650 are about equal in a straight line drag. However do not pick a woods race with him.

DS650 has same issues as Predator Heavy and Rev Limiter is too low.

 

my predator is piped and jetted and i out run two stock ds 650 with not much of a problem. top end the ds is a little faster. these two ds 650s are my buddys.

 

actually no, the Predator's don't lose by much. It is a very close race. Each one that I have raced I have only beat by 1 quad length in the 1/8 mile. Drags do nothing more other than give someone bragging rights.

I have had a Z400 smoke my tail in the holeshot only for me to reel him in and beat him by 3 lengths at the end.

 

i haved raced some ds,s that ate my lunch but they had some mods done and had a z453 that it was just who ever got off the line first. if i had the same kind of mods on my predator it would be a rocket. but look at how much money you have to put in a z to stay with the predator or ds.

Dustin minnasota... rev limiter too low on the predator... its revs 9500... how much more do you friggin want outa a 4 stroke... it was the highest reving until the yzf came out. 9500 is alot!
