Blamethedoog, thank you for finally saying what I have BEEN saying all along. Different riders WILL have different results. And when did I say that the Pred wasn't powerful? I have always maintained that the pred was a good machine. I never dogged the pred in any way. And finally I will repeat myself once again, I don't care if the pred really is faster than the other quads, it still isn't faster than my Baja X so let it fight for second place or even a DISTANT third. F polaris and the junk they make. I don't really mean that last statement but does it make you feel better? You whiney little bi$ches![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

ROFL.. you cant that a shoot out... the pred had a WB slipon.. i called WB and they told me that slip on added 1-2 horse.. i almost **** myself laughing.. i was told it added like 7 from other people but WB said 1-2.
the z440 was a stupid machine to have in this shootout... nothing was stock..
the 450 had a full system FMF powerbomb on it... as did the z440.. why did they give the pred a WB slip on that doesnt add ****? that is as far from a shootout as you can get... and i will say... the 450 will smoke a pred around a track... its definitly a great race machine... but we were all talking about drag racing the last i knew... and a pred will beat a 450 and a 440 in a drag...
either way this wasnt a shoot out... in a shootout everything is stock on each machine... or you give each machine the same mods... but even then there will be a differnce because the same pipe could add 4 horse to one machine.. then 7 to the next. they only good shoot out between the 450 and the pred was the one in atv action.

i beg to differ on that quote i was riding yeasterday at a local sand pit my freind has a yzf 450 and his freind had a predator both stock. and when we were getting ready to leave and there is a long nice dirt road at the exit to the sand pits. a guy was comming in on a Stock banshee me having the fully built lt250r i wanted to see how the two would compare. we were side by side first gear then as i hit the next three gears the banshee was way behind. then my boys wanted to give him a run the yzf and the banshee ran after me and the banshee kicked the yzf pretty good. then when they came back the predator and the banshee went at it well the predator was smoked like fresh beef jerky. and the spot we all raced is about 2 miles long so it wasent like there was not enough room to open the machines up. maybe the predator would beat the banshe off raod or trail riding but on the strait race the predator aint to impressive.

 

Getting back to the original post---
I don't believe there is any such thing as a stock Banshee. Come on, has anyone even seen one? Every one I've ever seen was modded before the guy got it home! Most of the ones sitting on the dealers showroom floor have something done to them. Guy I know had $3000 in the motor before it was a month old!

If a Predator will beat a stock Banshee, then Predators are a lot faster than I thought they were.

 

me full of myself? na just sick of people saying the pred is junk... i havent had any problems beating stock banshees... my buddys piped banshee was a little more of a challenge... and at 450 ft or so i was still ahead of him. ya a ds will beat a pred... havent seen it happen but i think that it will. as for a 450... every race that had lenght to it.. i saw the pred win.. it the short run the 450 ate em up. as for a z400... well... no i have never seen a pred get beat by one.. nor have i been beat by one myself.
