Default "wrap-around" hot grips

i chose to purchase the wrap around hotgrips, the ones that go around the bar and can still have the factory grips. Just wanted to get anyones feedback on these as far as what NOT to do when installing them and about how good they work. Thanks, PB500

Default "wrap-around" hot grips

Hi, I was following your post before and just wanted to add to it. I am not sure about installing those but get the thumb warmer also! I just spent a week hunting and it got pretty cold (even snow!) My hands would get hot but my thumb would freeze. If I would turn off the hand warmers my thumb would be allright again. My buddy (who has the thumb warmer) has this theory that the blood flow gets shut off to your thumb when the rest of your hand is warm. We are not doctors but it seems to make perfect sense to me and I will be getting a thumbwarmer also.
I hope someone has some good answers for your installation.!

The wrap around units are great. I have them on my Predator (Yes, I said Predator). Nothing like flying down a river wide open for a few miles! I did notice that the grip glue doesn't like them though. I have to re-glue them after winter, or the start to slide off.

As far as I'm concerned there is no way I'm gonna be cold if I can help it. I have a thumb warmer, hand warmers, just picked up an electric vest and electric insoles for my boots. I also have a windshield. When we go riding in the fall and winter the temperature can and has dropped to -25 deg C. Add windchill into the equation and you have a damn cold ride.
