HAS ANY BODY HAVE THIS KIT? IF SO HOW DOES IT WORK. THANKS. 96SP 500.

 

i have this kit on my 2000 sportsman500....so far i like the heat wrap for the pipe(kinda a pain to put on though)i use my own clamps for secureing the wrap instead of what they supplied...it definatly keeps the heat into the pipe... i can grab the pipe with my bare hand while the engine is idleing without a problem so it definatly helps with the pipe heat... is it necessary with a stock pipe i don't think so....lets see i believe there was also some water and oil treatment stuff that came with the kit also...i don't actually know how much cooler things are running b/c of the additives but i've never over heated ....i think of all the things in the kit the pipe wrap is the most beneficial especailly with an aftermarket pipe...hope this helps
