I'm not much of a sport quad person but one thing I do know the Raptor has over the Predator though...and that's the looks.

 

ya i hated the looks of my pred when i bought it... but they kinda grew on me... now i just hate the 450 nose piece... it looks jew.

 

man thats one of the reasons wy i bought the predator i thought it was the best looking quad out there who in the world said the raptor handles better than the predator man you must be smoking something real bad. and for one being better than the other go ride um both and make up your mind. if you get a raptor the fellows on the predators will be beating up on you.

 

well i just sold my raptor..but i raced a couple predators, and for the raptor having 160 more cc's it doesnt beat the predator by much. I think both quads are good, but i would much rather have the yamaha [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Warrior92, have you ever gone back and read some of the things you've written? Granted, everyone has their own opinions, but when you make blanket statements, when obviously you haven't experienced the situation in question.....it shows. You tried the same thing with the 450R, it doesn't do anything but trash your credibility.

Iwanna, both the Raptor and the Predator are good machines. Give them a try at a local dealer, and see which fits you the best. Obviously, here, we like the Predator. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Both are great quads.I prefer the raptor. It has more low end and mid range grunt and is a well rounded package and so is the predator.It really comes down too rider,both are too close,that what it comes down too. Yes,i have ridden a predator too,i like it alot,just prefer the raptor. My good friends wife has a predator,I can smoke her in the woods and all,mainly because of riding ability. But when we get in the open long roads,she will creep past me on the top end and wave too me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] as she goes by,then i have too follow her then

 

as of now there is no raptor that would beat my predator, but when it was stock there were very few raptors that did beat it, and they were the most modified ones at the dunes. raptors have a 160 cc advantage, but the makers of the engine did something wrong, because predators have more power. my friend has a raptor with dmc alien exhaust, jet kit, k & n, and everything else you could get done to it almost, and when mine was stock i still beat it, and he is about 30 lbs. smaller than i am, he'll even tell you about it. anyone that says that a raptor is better and faster than a predator does not know anything about atv's.

but i will say that if you beat your buddy... it wasnt the quads that beat eachother... it was the riders.
