I think they may be moving away from the Scrambler all together. I hate to say it because I love mine. Look at the evidence. New in '04, no fox shock anymore and cheapo handle bars.

If Polaris lightened up the scambler, kept the 4x4 and installed the pred motor and updated tranny, I think they would have a winner. Polaris also has to get away from those garbage mcpherson struts. They work ok for a utility but not a spot quad.

 

They are raptor pro pegs, modded to fit..The black Scram. is factory black plastic,Nothing special..Ordered from a local polaris dealer.

 

newbie here - this could be a silly question but...
can you fit the 500 Scram plastics on the 400? I am loving the black!
Also, anyone know a ballpark price?

 

All the plastics will fit except the nose piece....since it has the oil cap. You can reuse your factory piece or get one in a different color to accentute the black. Or buy a block off kit and remove the oil injetion tank. I think the fenders are in the $150 each range.
