Default Dang air box setup.

Has anyone came up with a good and inexpensive way to cure the leaking intake on the Predator???? Mine leaks between the lid and the intake tube. I have tried putting a UNI pod filter on it and it keeps tearing at the mounting base. Besides with the pod on there it just does not run quite right. It has power but seems to be laking in different rpms no matter what I do (jetting and adjusting). I mean if I get the higher rpm clean the mid is not right and idle has never been right it is either too rich or too lean no happy medium. It seems that the carb that is on there likes having a long runway to it. I have other bikes and have not had the hassles tuning with a pod filter. Oh well for now I have the factory setup back on and silicone at the union but that just seems cheesy to have to do that.
