changing sprockets

Default changing sprockets

hey guys right now i have a 13 tooth front and a 36 tooth rear sprockets on my scrambler,i was thinking about adding a 38 tooth sunstar rear,how much top end will i loose?should i add a different size front sprocket?and will i need a longer chain?thanks for any help

Depends what you are looking to do.You'll get a little better bottom and probable lose about 6mph.

well i want more bottom end but really dont wanna loose any top,iknow changing sprockets will change the speed,you really think ill loose about 6mph?

That's what it figiures out to be.But, being a pvt putting a little lighter spring in the drive clutch will keep you in the bottom a little longer.
