trail blazer vs 400ex
#2
The 400 trailblazer would give the ex a run but in the end the ex would win. The ex has good top end power and the trailblazer has good bottom end. Put on a pipe and clutch kit on the trailblazer and it will kill the ex for sure.

Ummmm.... granted the TB does have good low end, but the 400ex I think would win under most cases.
If the TB was really modded with a lot of stuff, maybe not, but those 400ex's do run good.

depends on the rider of the 400ex, the tb will get off the line faster but the 400ex will pull ahead when it hits 3rd gear, if its a short 300ft drag, the tb will win, a 500ft drag, the ex will win, on an mx track, the 400ex will smoke the tb

I agree, that is a very good analysis. I own both a TB and a Scrambler 400. I ride with several Hondas including a 250R. The 250R is a good running quad, especially with a carb and FMF pipe. But the 400ex and the 250R with carb/pipe still can't hang close to a Scrambler 400 with carb/HPD pipe and mild clutch kit.
The 400 is a beast that is so de-tuned, it really runs hard.
