When I installed a K&N filter on my SP500 I was expecting to have to rejet. This was not the case, the factory jetting worked just fine. Quite frankly I could not notice any difference in the performance at all. The benefits as I see it are, they are reusable and they clean the incoming air better than the stock paper filter. As you all know according to the K&N advertizing you should see a noticable performance improvement, not so on my machine.

A K&N makes a night and day difference on a 2 stroke. You will notice a lot better throttle response, as well as overall performance. I did not have to re-jet my Sport after installing one.
