Correct me if im wrong, but I read an article that the polaris motor in the early 03 models were crap until they farmed out their motor program to an outside company that knows how to build a sport quad motor. I have ridden one and thought I thought it was awsome. Lot's of power, good handling.

It was a personal message for Crazyace, just tipping him off on a good place to buy a Predator. Some of the early models had a porosity problem in the cylinder head. Polaris has stood behind quite a few of them, even ones out of warranty. There is supposedly a trans update coming for the 03's. It sounds like it's gonna be a owner purchaseable kit. The motors have been manufactured by the same source all along. They're a fun machine, now with the updates to the 04's they're even better.
