Default predator ??

I never really considered the predator because of not having reverse but i think i might like the power
so how is it on the trail at slow speeds not going all out all the time just rideing for fun???

I found its not that bad. Once you gear it down a little.

i love mine for trail... but if thats all your gonna do is trail ride i suggest a Z-400... its more of a smooth ride and has reverse... and has all the power for trail that you will need.

Jay, If you are a trail rider, go with the Z. I agree - trailblazers should have reverse. I have both the Z and Predator, and the trail title goes to the Z IMO. Now, does that mean I 'd rather ride the Z than the Pred? For tight trails, Yes. For anything else, definietly no. Sounds confusing, but for me it's about aggressive riding where you need the most HP you can get, and the predator wins that one.

There's a lot of debate with the reverse option. Actually coming from a machine that had it (now since removed for drag racing) I have to say after just a short period of time, I don't miss reverse at all. You have to take into consideration the turning radius of the machine. The Pro steering equipped Predator has the capability to turn around in some pretty confined areas. Besides the other bonus of that Pro steering for trails, is the virtually zero feedback of hitting obstacles, and not feeling them in the handlebars.

ya but the pred has a fairly stiff suspension where the z is soft... and trail riding/mudding... reverse is a must. you get stuck... throw her in reverse and out you come... with no reverse you gotta get off and push and yank...
