My 2000 S-10 is 52" across the back of the bed and 41" between the wheel wells. My 2003 Suzuki vinson fits in it and it has 28" gators with 1" spacers. I pushed dents in my wheel wells so I bought a two quad trailer. The S-10 pulls it great and will haul a good load of fire wood at the same time. The 4.3 engine is real strong. I can pull a full size truck on my car dolly with no problem.

I have a 92 S10 Blazer. It is the first year for the Vortec engine. I have the 4.3 Vortec CPI (the H.O. 195 horse motor) The motor is real strong. The 700R4 (4L60) tranny will get you to about 120K, if your lucky. Unless it has had the tranny rebuilt, then I would take that into consideration. The IFS suspension SUCKS on the S series trucks. I would not recommend messing with the torsion bars, unless you plan on replacing a lot of parts. I have replaced just about all of the suspension parts on it. Do yourself a favor and get the lifetime warrenty sutff for the suspension. Other than that they are good cheap little vehicals. They like to rust real quick though Also, SLP Performance sells a Zexel Torson posi differential for the rear axel for $100. I just put one in about a month ago. Real slick little unit

Well its well past the 120k you speak off..hehe..he said its never been rebuilt, but the fluids and fliter have been changed regularly. Hes a mechanic and has replaced alot of stuff on it as he was planning on keeping it. But he bought a bigger Chev Z71 so hes gonna sell this.
New parts on it include, New brakes, exhaust, rad (3core), Altenator, starter, wheel cylinders, caliper bushings, ebrake, gas lines, rear springs, had the cab off the frame, fixed the floor up, new cab mounts, hmmm..other stuff cant think what though. But the 4x4 works great, very smooth. Its a Durango model..

I would check the ball joints, idler arm, CV joints, and torsion bar mounts as well. Those have been the most problem matic on mine. If you hear a clunking from the front, then your CV joints are probably bad. If the clunking is from under your feet, it is probably the torsion bar mounts. I replaced mine about 2 years ago and they are bad again.
