Can't Get Her Started
#1
I haven't had my TBoss running in over three months (what a doo doo head, I use to start it at least one a week). Anyway, she's all gassed up, the battery's charged, and she's turning over like a charm just can't get it to crank. Isn't there some trick where I open up the air box and spray something in to help tha carb breathe?

First, is the carb getting the fuel? Second, is it flooded or is there a
heavy smell of gas in the air? Check your plug, if its fuel soaked then
its probably flooded. If you have left the fuel petcock turned on then
the crank could be flooded. That happened to mine once and I had
to remove the crank drain plug and drained about a 1/8 th cup of
gas out. It then started right up!

Did you drain the old gas? Gas can go bad over time to the point it won't start. If your float bowl is full of old gas it may not start. Drain all the old gas including what is in the carb float bowl. Change the plug and then load it with some fresh fuel and it will probably fire up.
