Default Glacier Plow System SP700

I just installed the Glacier Plow System on my 2002 SP700 yesterday. It is one sweet system. The only problem is the weak Polaris winch mounting plate. I have always known it was flimsy but the plate and fairlead bend downward just from the weight of the plow when the plow is raised and the bike is moving. I might have to weld a support to the front bumper. Anyone else experience this problem and have any fixes?

Good afternoon,

Just wondering ( Sorry to ask ) but about how much was the whole plow rig? Can you use it it if you dont have a winch?

Thanks,

Hank

$392.15 for a winch equipped ATV. It is an additional $199.95 for the electric lift system for the non winch equipped ATVs. What is really cool about this system is the ease of mounting and dismounting the plow. Polaris says it takes 30 seconds to put the plow on and the same to take it off. It is true and I think it can actually be accomplished in less time. The initial installation including assembly took appx. one hour. I also think it could be done quicker but I was in no hurry.
