i havent heard of the X.. but as far as the high flow intake.. i think its a waste.. a K&n pod does the same thing.. its better protected and saves you about 150$. i have a 172.5 MJ and a 50 PJ in with my pod..

On this forum, I have heard several reports of a 450 Predator "Venom" coming out in 2004 or 2005. It is basically a race ready predator. Here are the details I picked up:
-Aluminum or Ti-moly chassis
-EFI
-Lightweight motor with hi-comp. and kick start
-Nerfbars
-Chromoly A-arms
-Chromoly Swingarm
-Long Travel Walker Evan Shocks

The 450 class of "race ready" machines is the current, and future "hot ticket". We have Polaris making sport quads, Honda is coming back, and the GNCC is on Speed TV. There's money in those hills, er, I mean quads. People will buy them if they build them.

as much as i hate to say it.. people hate polaris as far as a sport machine builder... they are too heavy!!! and isnt that pred almost the same as what rath raced? i aint sure but it had to have been a 440 right?

hey mod all we got do is keep those tree huggers on a leash so we will have places to ride. really the only people that hate polaris is the people that is jelous of the mighty predator. hey hozed got my hpd power maxx pipe on today i love that pipe. got it for 340 dallars on a promtion. hpd is trying to get them out there so people can see a real pipe. that actually works.

It was really strange this last summer. One of the dirt drags I was at, we had an entire pack of modded Shee's, and not one of them wanted to follow an HPD modded 400. The respect will come with time. Now that the first year bugs are worked out of the Predator, the length of the fangs on the machine should begin to grow. I know I keep saying it, but it's really exciting having all these different sport machines to choose from.
