Been there, bent that, they are cheesy. Make sure that if you took a tumble that hard that you check your tie-rods really well. The little ones will bend easily. You may even have to pull them out and put them against a straight edge. I ended up running 2 races on bent tie rods and couldn't figure out why I got steered into trees so easily!! The stock stem costs about $70 from your dealer. I know you may not be able to afford the nice chromoly, but if you can put it on the card and ride it out a while...it's well worth the investment if it happens again, cause if you roll 3 more times, it will have paid for itself!

The Steering Stems are only 70 bucks. WoW my dealer must be trying to rip me off. I could of swore they wanted a hundred and some. The first day i got my preddy i let my friend ride it and he crashed it some how. He was bloody and all but i made him walk home i was pissed

i bent my stem to. I paid $110 for a new stocker. That was 8 months ago. If you rolled it check the ends of the ball joints because a bent my ends. It caused one of the front tires to tow out. Causing the steering to feel twitchy and uncontrolalbe. I never have had a problem with the tie rods. I have rolled it 3 times and they are as straight as a arrow. Just the ball joints bend.
