Predator Steering Stem
#3
Been there, bent that, they are cheesy. Make sure that if you took a tumble that hard that you check your tie-rods really well. The little ones will bend easily. You may even have to pull them out and put them against a straight edge. I ended up running 2 races on bent tie rods and couldn't figure out why I got steered into trees so easily!! The stock stem costs about $70 from your dealer. I know you may not be able to afford the nice chromoly, but if you can put it on the card and ride it out a while...it's well worth the investment if it happens again, cause if you roll 3 more times, it will have paid for itself!

The Steering Stems are only 70 bucks. WoW my dealer must be trying to rip me off. I could of swore they wanted a hundred and some. The first day i got my preddy i let my friend ride it and he crashed it some how. He was bloody and all but i made him walk home i was pissed

I think you can buy a 250r one, and just cut the bottom off of it. Do the same on the predator stock one, measure the lenght and weld it on. Should save yourself some money anyway, chromoly the cheaper way.

i bent my stem to. I paid $110 for a new stocker. That was 8 months ago. If you rolled it check the ends of the ball joints because a bent my ends. It caused one of the front tires to tow out. Causing the steering to feel twitchy and uncontrolalbe. I never have had a problem with the tie rods. I have rolled it 3 times and they are as straight as a arrow. Just the ball joints bend.
